LOS ANGELES, July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- CRN Digital Talk Radio (CRN) will premiere "The Ed McMahon Show" on Saturday, July 28, 2007. Hosted by veteran entertainer and one of America's most notable personalities, Ed McMahon, the weekly radio show airs on CRN1 Saturdays at 6:00 p.m. and is replayed on Sundays at 5:00 p.m., all times are Pacific (check your local listings). McMahon made the announcement today during his weekly guest appearance on CRN's "What's Cookin,'" hosted by Mike Horn and Paul Stern.

Formerly "Lifestyles Live," Saturday's premiere as "The Ed McMahon Show" marks the program's resurgence with more news, interviews with celebrities and showbiz insiders, and exciting commentary from McMahon and his guests on living the good life.

Are programs loaded with celebrity interviews and showbiz insiders considered "News/Talk".

McMahon's show sounds like it will be entertaining listening. It doesn't sound like it would be considered "News/Talk".

I agree. I think his show will be very entertaining but if one were to categorize it, it'd be an entertainment show, not news/talk.
