And am I the only one who HATES hearing scripted callers?
Whether it's JT's show which is notorious for them or Rome's "smack off" scripted callers are the worst!
Not that I want to hear a guy stumbling over his words but man when you hear a caller going rapid fire with references and comments you know they HAVE to be reading from a script otherwise they'd be doing it for a living and NOT calling in to a radio show.
The minute I hear a caller going into a rant and it's obvious it's scripted i'll change the station.
I don't have a problem with having some notes or stats to back up what you're saying but when you read from a script verbatim it loses it's edge and spontaniety which is the hallmark of being a "Fan" which as we know is short for "fanatic" and that is what sports radio makes it's money on the fanatacism of fans.

KevinLJ said:Anybody, but JT The Brick. Talk about a show that has run it's course and then some. If FSR should make him do his show for 5 hours and not skip out in the final hour. Bruno always had good guests. Like everything after a while a show starts sounding stale.
