Tony Bruno Selling CA. House, Will Move Back To Philly To Go Local On WPEN-FM

No word yet on what's happening with the late-night syndicated show. For now he'll be doing noon-to-two. I can't imagine he's moving across the country back to Philly just for a two-hour program.

This station needed a major announcement like this. All the buzz in the past week has been about competitor WIP (CBS) moving to FM. WPEN-FM still has no morning show, and has been simulcasting Mike & Mike from its sister AM for two years.

Anybody, but JT The Brick. Talk about a show that has run it's course and then some. If FSR should make him do his show for 5 hours and not skip out in the final hour. Bruno always had good guests. Like everything after a while a show starts sounding stale.

That is the problem I had with is show. I tried to listen to it but after awhile it seemed like it was just the same thing everyday.

Artie did say the new show would begin on 9/12. Is FSR/DirectV is so cheap that they wouldn't fire a guy a month ago after a borderline offense that could be considered worthy of dismissal yet they carry on a plan conceived months earlier that ended up with Bruno gone in early September anyway?

JT and Looney have the best show on the Network by far and that show blows away anything that Bruno ever hosted. Brick built that time slot and Bruno ran it into the ground. Once again, Tony implodes on twitter and runs back home for a 2 hour show wit nothing to show for it? Who didnt see this coming?

DirecTV probably is that cheap.

As for FSR, well, there's a reason I call it "SuperStation KLAC..."

JT is the biggest dick on national radio and has worn out his welcome,IMO.Looney is just a buffoon....

Actually FSR is getting stale. Too much schtick and too many Regular Callers. I've been "not listening" to Ben Maller. Same old stale callers. It's cool when Kyle Brandt is on there. Yeah Tony got stale. But the stalest, moldiest show on air is JT the Brick. Throw that thing into the trash. Give me more Chris Landry FSR

lifeguardofradio is either JT or Looney.

You're getting closer,Oak! I'm one of their listeners who continues to mock you for all of your mistakes on the board as you continue to justisfy the life and career of Tony. Want to explain how Tony lost his Fox deal, KNBR and now only hosts 2 hours in Philly? If you are true to form, you will spin this as a great career move with tremendous upside.

JT and Looney are great. Better than most of the Fox Sports Radio programs that are currently on.

Too bad Tony Bruno didn't take the spot of that horrific Petros and Money Show or the Lose Cannons.

FSR

I would not say they are great just get tired of their act. As a football fan they lack especially on college football thank goodness Chris Landry sets them straight. When JT comes on and declares the Patriots unbeatable after a 2-0 start is why I listen to John Harris when it comes to football. Please someone fix sports talk!

Well if you think these two turds are good radio you have a serious problem. Tell me why Batman and Robin were not moved up to Tony's spot and are still lingering when nobody listens.

Yea, but that's what all sports talk show hosts do...in fact, they all make superbowl predictions before the season even starts. It's all part of the act; if they didn't do that, they'd be considered boring.

JT and Looney are very entertaining and I've always listened to them. True, JT can be over the top sometimes, but I'd rather have that than some guy just rattling off stats. I also like Bruno, but unfortunately he never seems to be happy in one place and moves around too much; I wish he would have just stayed at FSR, but that's how he rolls I guess. JT may have changed time slots, but he's been FSR for a very long time...very stable.

LOL, Batman and Robin would have you believe that they own the greatest piece of airtime real estate known to man, and have no desire whatsoever to move to a different time slot.
