Top of the Pops TV show in America - Now This Could Be Great For Top 40 Radio

If Top of the Pops becomes successful here this time around, then Top 40 radio is more then likely to benefit from it. It could sparkle new interest from young viewers, as well as cause those who have deserted CHR radio to rediscover it.
I hope CHR stations will get behind this show, and find a way to strongly promote it.

This is great for exposure, and will probably draw more attention to the music from Europe as well. Most kids still prefer hip hop though, so Im too sure that the kids will automatically start listening to Mainsream Chr, if they have already decided that they like Rhythmic CHR---HIP HOP....... However, Younger kids, like from ages 10-13 are more likely to be opened to different music, than their older Thugged out brother and sister. And the younger kids are the future target audience for mainstream CHR, so it is important to get them hooked on (GOOD) music at a young age, before they get absorbed into Gangsta Rap.....Now I Like Hip HOP, but I just dont like the fact that this is all kids listen too now....
