After writing that a work center would be better off spending donated funds on more important needs than buying idols for their building's entrance, award-winning Multi-media man George Knapp was attacked by a local talk station. The station, that features a host who has had drug addiction problems, said: "he (George Knapp) should mind his own business."
Medical and dental needs, clothes, transportation, computers, etc. should be the priority at a work center for mentally challenged folks, according to George Knapp. Idols could be donated by an artist or foundry, not bought with hard to raise donated cash.
The low rated talk station, which did a 2 hour show on how Mexican "Mecha" groups claimed credit for starting the recent California brush fires and claims that WMD was found in Iraq, (no evidence of both claims) used its station manager to attack GEORGE KNAPP, who often does the national radio show "Coast to Coast AM", writes for a number of publications and is seen on top rated TV newscasts doing awarding investigative reports.
