KTVX-Channel 4 photojournalist dies of injuries he suffered while on assignment
A longtime photojournalist at KTVX-Channel 4 died Monday, 11 days after he was hit by a pickup truck while on assignment.
According to the report this is when he was on duty at the time he died and was hit by Truck.

Tracy Smith, 61, was working at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon on April 6 when, according to police, he stepped into the road at the intersection of State Route 209 and State Route 210 and was struck, suffering severe head injuries.
According to KTVX, Smith “had an extremely positive influence in our newsroom, always lifting up those around him and giving out accolades to all his co-workers. He was truly one of a kind, with a sweet spirit and infectious personality. He was one of the hardest workers in the industry and truly loved what he did.”
