WZLA was carrying Slammin' Gold/Oldies Radio (now called Classic Hits) format before the switch to DialGlobal. As I'm sure you all know Oldies Radio (now Classic Hits) was distributed by ABC Radio, who also distributes the almighty TOC.

And if GoodTimesGreatOldies thinks the Dial Global feed/format is "weak" he'd love ABC's Oldies Radio.. WZLA dumped that because they got too many complaints about the repitition and small playlist.

I don't think I've ever heard as repetitive of a oldies feed as the Jones one (Gary Outlaw, JJ McKay, Dave Sanders) as heard on WOLS/Charlotte and WCSZ before it fizzled out. Same late 60s/early 70s songs over and over with dull imaging. The talent is great, but they could seriously use more variety. They need to listen to Scott Shannon, the oldies EXPERT and get that 5,000 SONG PLAYLIST! ;D

If I had a station and had to pick an oldies satellite feed, it'd probably be ABC's Classic Hits, even if the playlist is a little too tight.

radioguy - do you know what satellite feed WZSN/103.5 in Greenwood carries? I'm thinking it's ABC's Hits and Favorites, but not sure.
