Trump threatens to sue Former Daily Show host Trevor Noah

Woah Trevor Noah was best known for his time on the Daily Show on Comedy Central. But he finds himself the target of a lawsuit by the Trump administration over a segment during the Grammy’s.

Awww. The idiot-in-chief got his feewings hurted.

And, as usual, it's all our fault, even when it's a comment on something he did.

I have an eight letter word in mind, starting with B and ending in, which I can't use because the board software would censor it.

Once again there are no exceptions to the first amendment. Comedians have no obligation to be factual. Entertainment is not the same as news.

It's funny to me that the president claims Noah made "false and defamatory" statements, and then the president makes false and defamatory statements about Noah. It's a typical pattern where the president attacks and defames anyone who doesn't praise him.

The president has made a lot of false and defamatory statements about his predecessor. When asked for comment, his spokesman says the president has a first amendment right. So does Trevor Noah.

True and I thought when Trevor Noah left the Daily Show he would not get targeted by Trump. Like in past examples we were thinking the host most likely to be targeted are active Late Night hosts such as Kimmel, Colbert, Seth Meyers. Apparently not the case.

Anyone who says something he doesn’t like gets targeted.

Because that’s how the president of the US should be spending his time.

Notice that His Majesty, King Dimwit von Dipsh!t, doesn't dare to attack Jon Stewart. I think he's figured out that he will get disemboweled by the time that mistake plays out.

(BTW, K.M., if you want to use "that" word, do as I do, turn the i upside down by substituting a "bang" (an exclamation point). The software seems to ignore those.)

Oh, you mean bullsh¡t ...? (using the code for the upside-down exclamation point used in Spanish)

He also seems to ignore Keith Olbermann, who flies slightly under the radar with his twice-weekly podcast.
Well that's the thing. Trump - despite his protestations to the contrary - cares very much about what people say about him on the big awards shows like the Grammy's or the Oscars. It's why he tried to cancel Kimmel, (allegedly) succeeded in cancelling Colbert, and rages against things like the Superbowl halftime show.

He grew up in a time where these things were events that everyone tuned into live on television. It was where all the "cool kids" hung out. He even appeared at Comedy Central's roast, and a few years later hosted SNL as a candidate. Despite being President, he doesn't get invited to these things anymore. And I think that bothers him, so he lashes out at the "cool kids" who don't wanna hang out with him anymore.

It's an ego thing. Then again, he's trying to sue the IRS for 10 billion dollars...an agency which he's technically in charge of, so it also might be a "time to take the car keys away from grandpa" thing.

was Charlie Kirk one of the cool kids? or just what the elderly Conservative donor class thought was a cool kid?
