This has to be the most ridiculous lineup I've ever seen. PTL at 4:30? "Mission:Magic" at 10PM? What was station managment thinking at the time. Why couldn't they stick with those non-stop movies they started out with?

11 AM Jim Nabors (short-lived talk show)

I didn't even know that Jim Nabors ever did a talk show. How long did it last?

WTCG Ch. 17 Atlanta (Ind.)

4 PM Baseball: Braves at Padres

Could you please tell me what WTCG-17 had normally during this time period from 4-6:30pm?

Glad to. Normally, Ch. 17 had:

4 PM Addams Family
4:30 The Monkees
5 PM Hazel
5:30 Family Affair
6 PM That Girl

Since "Channel 17" was also "Superstation WTBS" by '78, when did the longtime practice of starting programs five minutes 'late' begin? Or did the Atlanta local feed start everything on the houir and half hour, while the national one delayed everything five minutes?

"Turner time," starting programs at :05 and :35.
didn't start until June 1981, and both the local
and national feeds had it. The practice was
discontinued in 1997, and programs now start
at the top and bottom of the hour, locally and
nationally.
