TV Shows On DVD Which Season Sets Haven't Been Out In A While

I have noticed that they are taking their time on some TV shows on DVD in season sets being released in that it has been a while since they have been released.

Green Acres: Why hasn't there been something about season 4 coming out on DVD? It has been nearly a year since the 3rd season came out.

All In The Family: Why also hasn't there been something about season 6 coming out on DVD? It has also been a year since season 5 came out.

Emergency!,60's Dragnet,Adam-12: Why haven't they announced something about when season 3 of Emergency,Dragnet 1968,and season 2 of Adam-12 coming to DVD? It also has been a while since all 3 shows have come out on DVD.

And since this is a radio site...

The favorite TV show of radio people everywhere....

WKRP in Cincinnati is not available on DVD.

Let's hope when it finally does come out, they don't cut out the Red Wigglers jingle like they did when the show was edited for syndication.

Unfortunately WKRP won't be released on DVD anytime soon. Too many copyright issues and royalties to be paid on original music :-\

Some shows, if sales are poor, will not release subsequent seasons. "Happy Days", "Laverne and Shirley", and "Mork and Mindy" probably won't see anything past season 1 for that reason.

I'm still waiting for "The Partridge Family" 3rd season. Sony claims that there were not enough sales of Season 2 to make it worthwile.
Mark :(

"Mary Tyler Moore" almost suffered the same fate after their first season set, until popular demand (apparently) motivated Fox to release other seasons.
