TV stations that carried the Columbia Tri-Star distributed "Enchanted Tales" animated anthology TV series from 1997-2003

Starting in 1990, the American Film Investment Corporation, name changed to Golden Films in 1994, started producing a series of mostly "mockbuster" animated videos that mostly competed with the animated movies that Disney, & some other major studios, were releasing at the time.

Some of these videos were retellings of classic stories (Such as The Little Mermaid, Snow White & Peter Rabbit.) & others were original stories (Such as The Jungle King.).
Each animated video was approximately 48 minutes long.

These animated videos were originally released on VHS by GoodTimes Home Video, from 1990 to 1994 & then Sony Wonder from 1994, when the Enchanted Tales name was adopted, to 2004.

In the Fall of 1997, Columbia Tri-Star would start syndicating the video series as episodes of an animated anthology TV series also called Enchanted Tales to TV stations in the US.

The following is a list of the TV stations, that I was able to confirm via Newspapers.com, that carried the TV show & the timeslots they carried it in.

WBXX, Ch. 20 (The WB), Knoxville, TN, 6AM-7AM Sundays

All of the above TV stations seemed to have pulled the Enchanted Tales TV show off their schedules by October 1998, however at least one TV station (WHSL, Ch. 46 (HSN), St. Louis, MO.) would add the show to their schedule by December 1999 (7AM-8AM Saturdays) & air it until March 2003 when the TV station flipped from HSN to UPN preempting an hour of HSN programming.

I also saw evidence that, before the TV show debuted in the US, the BBC & the Disney Channel UK aired the show first around 1996 to 1997.

Does anybody else here remember seeing this show on TV.

Article from the Chicago Tribune (August 31, 1997) that contains a blerb about the Enchanted Tales TV series on WCIU, Ch. 26 in Chicago, IL.
