I take note that while a lot of the Fox affiliated stations were O&Os (WNYW, WHBQ, KSAZ, WFXT, WAGA, WFLD, KTBC) not all the O&Os carried it, and in markets where Fox owned a station but did not carry the show there was no other station running it.

I wonder if they signed a master agreement covering all of their directly-owned stations but actually carrying it was optional, preventing anyone else from airing the show.

I don't think it was cleared in West Michigan as I don't remember it being cleared in 96-97 year unless it was aired late night. I know WOTV did air The Newly Wed Game & The Dating Game in 97-98 9AM & 9:30AM when Bob returned as host of The Newly Wed Game & Chuck for The Dating Game.
