TWC SPORTSNET REACHES AGREEMENT WITH DIRECTV IN LA

This is good news simply for the fact that my last group of friends will finally stop complaining about not being able to see Lakers game on Facebook.

Where is Comcast's footprint in the market? I'm trying to think of somewhere in LA, Orange, Riverside or San Bernardino counties that is Comcast but nothing comes to mind. I thought Comcast sold everything to TWC when the Adelphia deal went through and Time Warner ended up with most of the market.

They did; the only Comcast territories that would be able to get Laker games via TWC Sportsnet are the Fresno DMA (whose systems also carry Comcast's Northern California sports networks), and parts of the Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-San Luis Obispo DMA.
