Two new logs yesterday - I also posted these on Radio Insight 2/10/14

One hour to sunset, I got another needed Oregon – kind of surprised about who it was actually.
1250 – KCFM Florence, OR; part of a TOH ID at 1600 PT 2/10 – “…Oregon, and 104.1 FM in Florence”. NEW #570, 900W, 244 miles. I have heard that this station doesn’t get out well, so it was a very good catch!

and then,
920 – KVEL Vernel, UT; SRN News, WX forecast and jingle for “KVEL”, ID “News Talk 104.5 FM and 920 AM, KVEL” between 2205-07 PT 2/10. NEW #571, 1KW, 694 miles.

Since I moved to Yakima from Marysville, I have logged about 50 or 60 new ones - a very nice amount!

Congratulations on these great catches. Great to be able to keep up with your DX "conquests" once again. Keep 'em coming! I would think eastern Washington would be a prime spot for some interesting DX.

It is a great spot for DX. One mountain range cleared (the Cascades), the Rockies not so much. However, stuff from CO, UT, WY is NORMAL here. Back in Western WA, Colorado was a luxury besides KOA, maybe KKZN and maybe a weak KBJD. I now have well over a dozen logged total from that state.
