Two questions for Bay Area radio/music folks

I have been racking my brain for years on these two questions, and still don't have answers. Second one is marginally off topic, so apologies in advance.

1. In 1964-1965, I rode my bike down to KLIV and visited with the on-air DJ and another employee for an hour or two on a weekend day. One of them was in a wheelchair. Does anyone recall who that was?

2. The first rock concert I went to featured Count Five and the Staton Brothers at Longshoremen's Hall in San Francisco. "Psychotic Reaction" was their one and only hit and was still on the charts then. I have never been able to find the date of that show. Jonah Denz-Hamilton tried for quite a while to help me find an answer, with no luck. Does anyone have an answer for that one?

I would be eternally grateful to finally have an answer to these questions. I'm betting someone here would know. Thanks!!!

Psychotic Reaction was released in June of 1966 and reached #5 in October of that year so in must have been the later half of 1966. They had a concert Sept. 17, 1966 in L.A. so it may have been around that time. By October of 1966 they finished their last tour with ORIGINAL members. The band broke up in 1969. I guess since then, they've "reunited" a few times with only one original member included in the group. I guess a couple of the original guys have died so unless they propped their skeletons up on stage I don't think they were included in the "new" group.

Hi MDH, you probably already know this information. But, if you attended the concert while the song was still on the charts, then it must have been in late 1966 as Yabadabado1 wrote above.
Billboard shows that the song entered the charts on Sept. 10, 1966 and stayed on the charts for 12 weeks. So, the concert must have been in that 12 week time frame. If they finished their last tour with the original members in Oct. 1966, and you saw them in concert with the original members, then it would have been during those months: Sept. -Oct. 1966.
Do you remember how old you were when you attended the concert? Did you have a birthday during Sept. - Oct.? If you can remember that, then you can narrow down the time frame. Here's the link:

Chart info for Psychotic Reaction - Count 5

It was very likely 1966, but exactly when? I was in junior high school, so unless it was during summer vacation, the show was likely on a Friday or Saturday night. I'm not sure that a "tour" would have been relevant, because they were a San Jose band. I believe the Station Brothers were from the East Bay. That would make Longshoremen's a local venue for both if the money paid for gas and food. I have looked through back issues of the Examiner, Chronicle, and Berkeley Barb with no luck. Even did Google searches. Jona spoke to one or more band members. Still no answers.
