Tyler Sash, New York Giants Super Bowl Champion, Dead at 27

Tyler Sash, the former New York Giants safety, has died at the age of 27, the Iowa state medical examiner’s office told TheWrap. Sash was found unresponsive in his home on Tuesday.

No cause of death was immediately apparent, but no foul play is suspected. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning.

Sash played for the New York Giants from 2011 to 2013. He was a member of the 2011 Giants squad that won the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots, snapping the Patriots’ chance at an undefeated season.
