I've heard that KUHF was hoping to make the change this year, but it won't happen. They need FCC approval for the ownership change.
I know from personal experience that glaciers move faster than internal changes at KUHF.
That's not KUHF's fault. It's just the way the bureaucracy works in public radio, especially a university owned public radio station.
So the best guess now is that classical music on KUHC 91.7 FM won't be on the air until the middle of next year -- at the earliest. But don't hold your breath.
