UConn Men's Basketball Games Will Remain on WTIC

The UConn press release says Joe D'Ambrosio and Wayne Norman will still announce the games. However IMG College, the Huskies multi-media rights partner, will now own the radio rights.

Something not in the Huskies press release, but reported by CT Talking's Dan Lovallo: The games will not be streamed on WTIC.com, because IMG will be charging internet listeners.

Huge disappointment. They're charging $20 more for a season than UCLA. Both are severely overpriced for radio broadcasts. But I'm going to miss the home team. They're one of the best on-air teams in college sports.
