I just got the good news that The ultimate Oldies Concert is returning in 2010 to the Georgia Dome! Have any acts been signed yet? I heard that Three Dog Night will be there.

Any date yet or acts signed? Would love to see Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone! Also Buckinghams, GrassRoots, Chad & Jeremy.

Let's go cougaring...

So since Randy and Spiff are back together on an oldies station and you say there's going to be the Ultimate Oldies Concert again, why not take all the next steps and re-hire JJ Jackson and John Weatherbee and resurrect everything their previous stations were?!? And heck, why not rename the station "FOX 106"!! Wouldn't that be GREAT?!?!?

Naah. Let's not.

Peter Noone - not to be confused with WGST's audience... no one...

Has there been a cosmic shift in the universe? Is this perhaps Bizarro World? I agree with Clark yet again. This is like Jim and Dwight becoming friends. Due to my stature and good looks, I am Jim.

If you just got the good news why are you asking us? Ask the person who told you the news they must no more?

In the heyday they used to have in GA Dome? Where now the Square in Woodstock?

I just heard that Ultimate Oldies Concert featuring Herman's Hermits, Judy Collins and the Grass Roots will take place at the Dacula tennis courts.

Been there, done that, aint going back.

I did some checking and found out the line-up. The Spinners(featuring no one from the original group as they are all dead), Jan and Dean(but the only one left from the original band is the drummer) and Terry Jacks(hopefully not the imposter one.)

i have such great memories of the ultimate oldies concerts - one of the best ones we went to was the year 'the spinners' were one of the groups that played inside the GA dome, while groups like 'the swingin' medallions', and 'the drifters' played outside in the parking lot. those were some great times with the wife, the father-in-law (RIP), mother-in-law and me. he used to joke around with us not too get too far away because how would he ever find us in a sea of white. haha

No, I heard that they are trying to get some really big names like Ringo Starr, Paul Simon, Beach Boys, etc... and yes, it will be in the Georgia Dome in 2010.

Nope it's gonna be:

"Question Mark" from the ? and the Mysterians (the Mysterians are dead)
Gary Lewis's Playboys (no Gary)
The Boxtops' Alex Chilton and a Tascam tape deck with the music tracks
Shirelles' (one of the many)
The Turnabouts?? (marylee Rush's backup band doing the whole show)
The Originals (3rd tier Motown group)
Dexy's Midnight Flyers
and featuring the awesome Helen Reddy Tribute

Oh Please, Oh Please
The Guess Who
The Hollies
Johnny Rivers
Elvin Bishop
Tommy James
But I'll be thrilled no matter what!
