URBAN RADIO TAKES OVER MERIDIAN AND TUPELO CC STATIONS

tonedeaf, you are right,I have made some comments about those stations but I have never made remarks about the cc company, why, because I have never worked for them.I am sure the new owners will make some changes, who wouldn't. The point I was trying to make is this you idiot, the employees have nothing to do with what the new owners are going to do,all they can do is their job properly and to the best of their ability and let the chips fall where the may.I may be wrong, but has urban radio ever owned or operated any stations in meridian, I don't think so,yet all of the sudden posters in meridian are experts on the way they operate.

Too brusque for you? I apologize. Idiot? You give me too much credit. Every idiot knows that employees don't make policy and procedures, the employers do. I didn't realize that all the posters were from Meridian. Noted. ;D

Urban Gospel and Kiss.

WJXM is technically urban and is ahead of the gospel station so they don't have the top urban in the market. However, they do have the number two and three (Hal. and Kiss respectively) urbans in the market which isn't bad.

Gotta wonder, since the company us Urban Radio if they'll turn one of the sticks in Meridian urban to go against JXM. I'd say it's a certainty... based on what I've seen on their website it seems to be their plan to have an urban and a urban ac in every market they own it. The question is, which one will go?

I swear to God I never thought that 92Jamz would make it in Tupelo...

and if you would have ever seen that Kudzu covered trailer that Wizard started in (Russ, you remember, right) you would have never believed that it would make it either.... paid the bank of New Albany 251k in 1991 for it.... not a bad appreciation from there.... and lots of great folks have rolled thru there over the years....

best of luck all you guys on Cliff Gookin
