Kiss 107.7/WUKS FM has flipped from urban ac to a urban variety format as "107-7 Jamz" with the slogan "Everything That Jamz" They are streaming at www.kiss1077.com.

It's probably more of a new name and image rather than a variety format. With that positioner, though--that could easily give them a little leeway to shake things up several times an hour. You could throw in a few 'wow' titles (classic hip-hop, some pop crossovers likely to be deemed 'jammin' oldies') that wouldn't necessarily live on on a sleepier urban AC. As the late Frankie Crocker proved with his stewardship of WBLS, a 'jam' isn't limited to straight up R&B.
