USF Radio Story In BayCitizen.org/NY Times

Mostly a recap of the situation with KUSF Online and its future with volunteers hoping to buy back the signal [yeah, right...good luck! Got $73 million+ lying around?! ;)].
Besides appearing in the Bay Area edition of the NY Times, the article (probably) made the paper's NY edition due to the mentioning of WFMU-FM-91.1 Jersey City, NJ (across the Hudson River from Manhattan) donating broadband service to KUSF Online.
There are links to related stories embedded on the article's page.

If this is true what LP FM signal would KUSF buy? or the current SF FM radio station that should go defunct? It can't be KDFC 90.3? I wish I really knew what KUSF was like before KDFC took it over. does this mean taking over another College station from SF state , City College San Francisco. Or does this mean taking over another Non-profit station like KALW, KPFA, or KPFB.
Also what would the ex-occupants of 89.9 KDFC then called KNDL would buy? does this mean taking over an am signal for religious programming or taking over one of the K-Love signals?

They're blowing smoke out their asses. The DJs did not own KUSF, and they have no say in its operation or transfer. If the KUSF DJs truly wanted to buy a low powered FM, I understand that 89.3 Pacifica is for sale. It covers the western part of SF and down the Peninsula to Half Moon Bay, which is probably better range than KUSF, to tell you the truth.

Here's their website: http://www.893qfm.com/

So how long has 89.3 QFM been playing oldies? It just goes to show how out of touch this board is with what is going on in the bay area radio scene. On a Pacifica Station? Now that's a progressive concept to be sure! lol...lol The laugh added for BossRadioDJ's benefit! Good music playing on 89.3 just what the bay area needs another classic hits station. The founder of Pacifica is rolling in his grave! lol lol...

I believe that's Pacifica, California, not the Pacifica Foundation. You can stop LOLing now.

OK I like KDFC and this concept of KUSF on 89.3fm that is somewhat a good idea for both sides but. What about this 3rd station KDFC was supposed to get?
