Only in VT could you see a human interest piece that long! It was great.
I first met Jack when I was a cloistered freshman at Norwich. I would occasionally sneak away to Montpelier to sit in on Jack's show when he was at WSKI. One night I didn't make it back to campus by curfew and had to walk some punishment tours--several if I recall! A few years later I tried to entice Jack to New England's lesser Waterbury (CT), and he had no interest in leaving 'DEV. (I can say that now, right Jack?). Thirty years on and he is still there. Lots of listeners and lots of advertisers are glad he did.
Congratulations, Jack. Your induction to the VAB Hall is richly deserved. You are in very good company.
