Viacom CEO vows to unveil new strategic vision for company this week

I wouldn't be surprise if Viacom shutdown some of there lower profile channels Nick2 which is just west coast feed of Nick should go along with a few others.
 

Not surprised to see such bullish talk about CMT. Country music is younger and less rural than it's ever been. I don't think a TNN approach -- a nightly studio show with live performances with a house band -- would work today because today's major acts are much more arena-oriented, and music video blocks are '80s/'90s relics no matter the genre. But there certainly is the potential to reach an audience advertisers desire with country programming.
