Vinnie has been gone for a month and RAMAR did hire Drew Dougherty to take over. I have seen him a few times...not too impressed, but here is his profile from the website.
Drew Dougherty
Born in the backwoods of Texas, Drew Dougherty was raised by a pack of wild grizzly bears until the age of 14.
At that time, he was ushered into society, where he quickly learned how to live with humans and speak English.
A graduate of Southern Methodist University, Drew spent his first four years after college at Texas Cable News in Dallas.
He produced five different sports shows during that time, chiefly "Ford Sports Talk" and "Texas Legends in Sports".
Drew also contributed as an anchor on the 30-minute "Chevy Sports Day" highlight show that ran weeknights.
His favorite interview subjects during his time at TXCN were with NFL legend Don Meredith, automotive pioneer Carroll Shelby, basketball great Nancy Lieberman, and Randy "The Macho Man" Savage.
After a stint as the Editor of Austin Golf Magazine, where he profiled the likes of Ben Crenshaw and Larry Trader, Drew is excited to be in Lubbock.
He is single, and enjoys running, reading, chainsaw juggling and all things sports.
