Vintage Jones Airchecks: 23 August 2008 (WCIN), 29 September 2008 (KZAL)

For the weekend, here are some more classic Smooth Jazz airchecks from the Jones Radio Network.

First up, one of the few AM's that carried the network was WCIN (1480 kHz) Cincinnati. This was not one the affiliates I typically listened to, but as the format was going away in a month, I recorded a sampling from their stream. On this particular Saturday, the stream was not very reliable and cut out frequently. As a result, there is only 30 minutes or so from them here. The file is 192/44.1 and can be found here:

There is considerably more audio taken from KZAL on the 29'th of September. There is some previous audio posted a few weeks back, but there is an additional seven hours uploaded today. They all can be found in this folder:

Thanks again. Enjoying the KZAL audio especially. Kind of surprising that you have lots of KZAL and hardly any, if any, KUJJ. They were a JRN affiliate for two years and then flipped to BA and then CHR in 2012. Can hear them in Yakima quite well some days even with 101.7 KLES and 102.1 KPQ screwing it up. But still enjoying Loni Taylor and John Evans. Great announcers.
