Vintage Philadelphia TV Airchecks posted on youtube

Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of digitizing some of the TV airchecks that I made of the Philadelphia and New York City TV stations back in the mid-late '80s and early '90s when I was living in Monmouth County, NJ. I posted a bunch of clips on Youtube yesterday. So far posted are..

1) Sign on of WGBS/Philly 57 from 1988
2) Sign on of WTXF from 1988 just after they were sold to TVX and changed calls from WTAF
3) Sign on of WPHL from 1987 to include about :20 minutes of music that they played during their test pattern and then the intro speil, Star Spangled Banner and the into to "Delaware Valley Forum"
4) The last 10 minutes of The Flyers-Vancouver Canucks Game from Jan 2, 1988 to include the post game show with Steve Coates. (From WGBS).
5) Sign off of WNJT/52, Trenton, NJ from 1989

I will be posting more clips as time permits. But, anyone interested in TV from "back in the Day" will probably enjoying seeing this stuff- posted on youtube under "mdamico23"..

Thanks..

-Mike

Can't wait. In the meantime, I invite you and others to check out the YouTube channel of "TechnerVideo," who's got hundreds of television and radio clips posted, mostly from the Philadelphia area, and a lot of DX catches, as well. One boondoggle is that he hasn't updated it in awhile, and the updates are rare - but the time spent constructing the channel has paid off, in my view.
