I live about 15 minutes Northeast of Boston, Massachusetts. From my area, I can get 92 Pro FM, and 93.3
When I drive around this area, I can get 93.3, Lite 105.1. I can get both driving around as far as Danvers, Ma
I used to work (at a LIVE) Syndicated Radio Show in Southborough, Ma, I could pick up most of Providence and Cape Cod radio stations. I liked HOT 106.3. and 96.3 The Rose
Now, to get on this topic, I visited (Newport) Rhode Island back in summer 2001. Before I visited there, my former coworker who I used to work with back then, he lives in Brockton, Ma. Back then (2001) he assured me to check out both 1340am and 1450am WLKW He told me they played Classic Soul (which is one of the music I love to listen to) So, on my way there, when I was in Avon, Ma, I put on 1340am. No doupt, I heard that station that my coworker told me about. I learned it was a LIVE Syndicated Classic R&B Format that ABC Radio Network in Dallas, Texas used to have until 2003. Then ABC Radio Network disregarded that format.
I loved 1340am and 1450am
1340am and 1450am later picked up ABC Radio's "Timeless Classics"
Currently 1340am and 1450am now remain to carry ABC Radio Network (Live) syndicated programmming called "Timeless Favorites" (Timelessfavorites.com) They used to be called "Unforgetable Favorites" Then they disregarded that format two years ago, and 1340am and 1450am picked up "Timeless Classics"
Now, since February 2008, "Timeless Classics" Got disregarded
Now, (May 2008) They are called "Timeless Favorites" and some radio announcers that used to be on Unforgettable Favorites remain there now such as "Steve Gunn" who is on weekday mornings. Steve Gunn used to be on that Classic R&B Format, then he went to Unforgettable Favorites, now he is back on Timeless Classics. He is madddd cool. I like him and Laurie Bandemir. She was also on Unforgettable Favorites.
Any of you listen to "Timeless Favorites" on either 1340am or 1450am? They play Soft Rock from 1960s, 70s, 80s, and early 90s. They play some music from 1950s. My opinion is they are 100%%%% Better then any Oldies and Soft Rock Station. I love this format a lot. We sued to have Unforgettable Favorites on here in Boston, but since it's departure, the two stations are now Ethnic Programming.

I wish they could of changed 1340am and 1450am to "The Touch" which is a live 24/7 R&B and Classic Soul Format that is with ABC Radio Network in Dallas, Texas. They've been around since ?? 1995?? They are good
But Hall Communications Radio Knows what they are doing, not me. Good choice that they have "Timeless Favorites"
