Voice overs and Tampa Bay radio pitchmen on national commercials

I see Dave Mann doing a gold for sale tv commercial on national cable. WSRZ morning man David Jones doing a commerical for a motor home awning that is mounted to the side of a house, on national cable. In fact he has been mistaken for looking like ex presidential candidate Edwards. Then we have local pitchmen Billy Mays and Andrew Sullivan selling almost anything you can think of. Then to top it off, we have Jeff Laurence whose voice is on numerous commercials in a vast spectrum of ads. Who have I missed? Now, I'm not talking of local advertising only

Dave Mann is one hard workin' som'bitch, and knows how to read to sell. He has a second home up here in the NC mountains and we grab a pizza as often as we can to "quack" about media in general (apologies to Scott Robbins for using the term "quack")..Clients love him. Billy and Sully have actually managed to make a successful Discovery Net
work series out of the infomercial business, and the stuff people want to sell on TV is just WILD..Mr. Jones looks sharp, and sells truckloads of those motorized awnings..The Tampa Bay area must have had something in the water to make those guys stand out.

Me? If you travel to the West coast you will hear me doing national Teir 2 Hyundai spots..Universal Orlando Resort, National Geographic Channel..Phil Mickelson's Instructional DVD..Fabulous Pro Caulk the Omni Dual Saw..etc..etc..and several other fine items. Grateful for all the business. But I am really pouud to be keeping the lights on with awesome products that NEED to be sold to a country that can not seem to pick up turds:

Jeff,

What ever happened to the product that FROZE the turds before you picked them up?

But WAIT....there's MORE!

Frank..that was the "Turd HURLER-2" and it became cost prohibitive for the end user. Apparently the maker didn't price cans of freon (or whatever they used to freeze the piles before placing them in a "chucker" like plastic handle device..suitable for throwing) and the cans of fece-freez were something like 80 bucks for two cans..nobody wanted to pay that for cryro-processing thier pooche's packages before launching them into the neighbor's yard..go figure

It is upsetting to me that in the past I seem to have attracted more than my fair share of "excrement-related" products...well now I am moving forward, and selling higher-toned items..Mr. Ferrari will undoubtedly remember the famous "Grease Bullet"

Mmmmmm..La-ZAGN-YA!

see it here: http://www.greasebullet.com
