VP of news Ben Dobson at NBC10 Boston steps down

Ben Dobson is stepping down as vice president of news at three of NBCUniversal’s television channels in Boston, according to an email he sent to staff Wednesday.

A station spokesperson confirmed the news, saying in a statement, "Ben Dobson has decided to leave the station. His last day is today, September 1. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

Dobson has overseen NBC10 Boston, Telemundo Boston and NECN since 2018 and was responsible for the editorial direction and news strategy at each channel.
