VSiN Betting on 98.9 HD2 and 3-6pm on KIXI 880

yea but they allow app competition from FanDuel and DraftKings along with their respective tribal casino sponsorship with both Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods.
Didn't realize that. I left the state in December, less than 2 months after sports betting started. Connecticut allows multiple apps for horse betting, but the lottery has no connection with that.

I think there is one question that remains: will this show be more like a sports talk show with a betting element built in? Or, will it be a show that effectively tells you what you should bet money on? Not that it really matters, but I am curious.
The answer is; of course not. These shows discuss strategy, trends, insider news, rumors, and anything else one who does fantasy sports or bets on-line would care to consider. Sports betting is interactive, radio is broadcasting.

I realize that, Kelly, but there are countless YouTube channels out there with VERY specific information about which bets you should place. I have to assume that a radio version of this type of programming would have to be less specific.

KJR has had sport touts come on for essentially extended live spots, and this has been going on for years. The premise is that the tout will "give away" a couple of local betting choices, then push their 800 number for the "sure winners." Never heard one of these on KIRO, and suspect it may just simply be the influence of LDS ownership.
