WAJI, WMEE and WJOE all stay Christmas on Monday after doing the Christmas WEnc

according to Yes.com looks Like after all 3 were doing Christmas music over the weekend. Looks like WAJI, WMEE and WJOE all Continued on the Christmas Music Format through monday and into Early Tuesday. Poor Fort Wayners getting 3 Christmas Stations. reminds me the Year that WYXB, WGLD and WTPI went Christmas the same year in Indy. Good thing Indy will be only a 2fer if and when WYXB goes over here around thanksgiving if they do this year to go along with WNTR if we still are gonna have those calls during the Christmas season. WMEE and WAJI do it yearly. but i dont think WJOE has done all Christmas since it left the Sunny format if it did it then

You will have a fourth (maybe fifth since they're a simulcast). The River will play Christmas when their network feed goes all Christmas.

Joe-FM is Xmas for the first time ever. Those of you who have listened to several of these adult hits stations, is it common for stations with this format to go all-xmas? I know Mike FM (the only other adult hits format we've had in FW) never went all xmas. I actually spent my drive home yesterday taking out Majic and Joe off of my presets (WMEE, IMO, has been pretty much unlistenable since the mid-90s)

None of the jacks ive listened to has gone Xmas. the only time 104.5 aired Christmas was during its Gold/Oldies Era (that year Indy had 3 Christmas stations WGLD, WYXB, and WTPI.

Never heard of an adult/Variety Hits formated station going Christmas, usually the only type of stations ive heard of going christmas are Christian AC, Soft AC, AC, Oldies, Standards and those changing Formats after Christmas, maybe an occasional Hot AC and Adult CHR might flip over as well.

Only thing I can think of is to try to get more sampling at 106.3. Hard to do, though, when you have two known brands in the format.
