Walterboro: WALI back on the air with a familiar voice...

Now positioned as, "I-93.7, today's hot hits", but with a decidedly Modern AC lean in the mornings, because of new PD & 96 Wave alum Uncle Miles, who is doing the morning shift. I presume they're broadcasting from either the Palmetto Telephone Cooperative building, or possibly from Miles' home, as the WALI studios are for sale & no one is there. Later in the days however, it gets confusing, as they appear to morph into an all out CHR.

If only the tower could be moved closer to Charleston (it can't) or powered up (it can't), it would be nice to have a vestige of 96 Wave back.

Yes they did. Their signal wasn't the best either, and they come in better now in the outlying areas such as Summerville and western Charleston County.

I'm not sure how much longer this experiment can last. AC/CHR is not the proper format for Braves Baseball & Sunday NASCAR racing.

Just flip it to country or mono FM talk already.
