Wrong. 92.3 The Beat was NOT programmed from the east at all. It was a near totally west coast influence. If anything, it's biggest programming influence came from the streets of Oakland. Program Directors: Harold Austin, Keith Naftaly, Big John, Mike Stradford, Liz Kiley...and consultant Steve Smith.
