WASO/AM sold to partial owners of Northshore radio's WGSO

Filed today and reported today in AllAccess,

WASO has been sold by the bankruptcy court to 4 of the member owners of Northshore radio (which owns New Orleans licensed WGSO/AM 990.

WASO has been on and off the air for roughly 2 years trying to secure a buyer after being forced into receivership by the Bankruptcy court after Robert Namer lost a $3 million dollar lawsuit to the Federal Trade commission due to acts he was alledged to have done in 1991.

The new owners will be MCDJ LLC and include W Christopher Berry of New Orleans, Mary Latter of Covington ,and two Baton Rouge owners Joseph A. Kunstler and David Rubin. Reported purchase price was $578,100 .
