WBZ-AM Boston Radio 1030 could get more intelligent types for talk broadcasts...

Dan Rea has been a nitwit since he was the Young Americans for Freedom front man Westinghouse designated to be the right-wing alternative to Jerry Williams. Westinghouse later actually allowed a hard line right wing talk show host to become a TV news "reporter." Now he's back with simplistic right wing nonsense, no thought required. And no thought offered, for that matter.

Now those eight words are enough to disqualify anything else you might say that has any substance.

No one has ever questioned his reporting skills or biased reporting.

Let me guess....Hmmmm....you are a liberal who is showing the value of tolerance for other peoples thoughts and opinions, right? Did I hit it on the head?

Dan is a graduate of Boston Latin and BC Law. The Massachusetts Bar Association honored Rea with the First Annual Excellence in Journalism Award. Rea was presented with Boston University Law School's prestigious "Silver Shingle" award for outstanding public service. And, Rea received the "Yankee Quill Award by the Academy of fellow New England Journalists and the New England Society of Newspaper Editors.

Now if you have any constructive criticism about his talents as a talk-host that would be a different story....but simply name-calling shows you are being very small, most probably jealous, and unable to hold conversation.

And how's your career been? We're love to heart ALL about it!

David Brudnoy is not walking through that door, fans. Gene Burns isn't walking through that door.
All the negativity that's in this town sucks.
 
Rea is actually a graduate of the Boston University School of Law. As a liberal I think he tries to present a balanced intelligent program. I really like his Executive Producers show on Sundays from 9pm to 1pm.

Imagine someone accusing a conservative reporter of being biased. I wonder how far the rest of us would get if we accused a TV reporter of having a liberal slant. Oh, wait - there's nothing wrong with that, now, is there?

That poster to whom you responded was flamingly, unabashedly liberal.
 
Frankly, I think Dan Rea is about as "fair and balanced" as you are going to get on right wing talk radio. He is always fair to his callers and never makes fun of or disparages them as do Howie Carr and the other WRKO trolls.
No one could equal David Brudnoy nor Gene Burns for erudition. Sadly, those golden days of intelligent yet diverse talk radio are gone. WBZ could have far worse talkers than Dan Rea. Think he has a good moral center; conservative but fair.
