WBZ Radio: WAKE UP - Runs a Democratic Primary Commercial on October 28, 2006

Did anyone hear the "Deborah Goldberg for Lieutenant Governor" commercial which ran on WBZ Radio around 3:15 PM on Saturday?

She was asking for support and votes in the "Democratic Primary".

Wake UP WBZ !!! That Primary was held early in September... and by the way Ms. Goldberg lost.

How did that old political commercial slip into the log.

I thought WBZ Radio didn't make mistakes.... ;)

Re: WBZ Radio: WAKE UP - Runs a Democratic Primary Commercial on October 28, 200

I remember years ago a TV station ran an ad for the "WJIB Christmas Festival of Music"--in the summer
(the old 'JIB '96.9). Oopsie!

Let's see.........the A.E. probably blamed the traffic director, the traffic director probably blamed the board op, the board op probably blamed prod, and prod probably blamed the A.E..............sh!t happens, but it's never anyone's fault (my money's on the traffic director). ::)

I didnt hear it around 3:15, but I DID hear it around 12:30pm or so today... So that means they have played it at least TWICE. When I heard it I figured that SOMEONE there would have figured it out... but I guess not.

How'd ya like to be the (former) candidate and hear that spot

Maybe they just got around to checking logs from a couple of months ago, and perhaps they found they may have neglected to run the spot a couple of times when it had been scheduled. The ones you heard this past weekend may have been "make goods" from back then. ::)
