WCAU NBC 10 announces changes to its 4-6:30 PM Monday-Friday news block

As first reported by Laura Nachman a few weeks ago, NBC 10 is making changes to its news block from 4-6:30 PM Monday-Friday. The 4 PM show will hosted by Tracy Davidson, Vince DeMentri will anchor the 5 PM show and Tim Lake the 6 PM newscast. The big news coming out from this release is that Renee Chenault-Fattah will no longer anchor the 4 and 6 PM newscasts and will only anchor the 11 PM newscasts with Tim Lake. The changes will happen in the next few weeks. Because I want to restart this thread sine the last thread was ruined by some peopne and because this is big news that we should talk about here and not at take it outside.
 
This topic was moved not because of the original topic...it was moved because certain users decided to turn it into a flamefest. If this happens again, then these offending users will find fewer of their posts remaining on our boards.

I am allowing this topic to remain since a few users decided to hijack the other for their own purposes. If you don't like another user's posts, then don't read them. Let Radio-Info determine if something violates our TOS.

Shawn, if you don't like this topic being discussed, then by all means DON'T READ IT. If the topic is as played out as you think, then it will die a quiet death. Here's an original thought...How about letting users determine what topics deserved to be talked about instead of having one self appointed arbiter decide? If no one is interested, then it will simply go away. Where's the harm?

NBC 10 really needs a new set and hopefully the HD transition will force them into one.
Their weather center really needs to be made smaller, since most viewers with half a brain realize it is a gimmick.
 
Shawn, your post was largely a series of reiterating your attacks on Julius and was pulled for THAT reason. Again, we're not taking sides. We've asked you to ignore Julius when all he does is engage in behavior that YOU disagree with and that we've already ruled on. It's hard to hold the high moral ground when you're violating our TOS left and right.

As MBE, I am not concerned what goes on at another site. Everyone starts fresh here. I don't manage any other site. If Radio-Info isn't what you're looking for, then by all means find a home where you're happiest. You can choose to follow our rules or look elsewhere. It's pretty simple.

I will not shut this thread down simply because a user or two wants to hijack it for their own ends. These attacks have become much too personal and can't continue. I am left with little choice but to edit and delete posts that deteriorate into one big heckling session. It's not helpful to our boards and it has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

How about discussing the topic for a change?
 
I know 'PVI dominates at 4 with Oprah, but how does NBC 10 do at 4 against KYW?

Check NBC10.com or watch the station and you'll see the promos for "All That & More" with Tracy Davidson.

Interestingly enough, at 12 noon today they didn't air "Out of the Vault"; instead they aired Bobby Rydell's Malt Shop Memories infomercial. Boo.

On an NBC O&O. Sad. Shades of Karmazin putting on infos at 7:30 PM on the CBS O&O's in top markets comes to mind.
