WCAU-TV 10 reporter Harry Hairston makes racial comments?

Well, NBC10 says he didn't. Dan Gross says he went there and listened 10 times, and didn't hear it. So I guess he didn't.

Still I find this comment odd.

"When we reached news director Chris Blackman, he told us: "There's no way he said that. The people who heard 'cracker' are the people who wanted to hear 'cracker.' " Blackman said the clip was removed because if people were offended, even by mistake, it's not worth it."

Thats sounds like the kinda comment that a angry clerk at a store would make, and not something a news director would want printed.
