Channel 3 announced this evening....

"A member of the Channel 3 family is in the news tonight. Veteran reporter Anson Tebbetts announced today he is leaving WCAX to become Vermont's new deputy secretary of Agriculture. He is currently our Montpelier Bureau chief -- leading our coverage of the legislature and state government. Anson grew up on his family's dairy farm in Cabot. He used to milk cows before coming to work for us.. farming is in his family, in his blood. Agriculture Secretary Roger Albee says he has the right mix of expertise and enthusiasm to work on issues facing Vermont farmers. This isnt the time to say goodbye..we will do that next week."
