So sad! WBAL-TV reports that alleged killer Luigi Mangione's cousin is WCBM air personality and manager Nino Mangione:

"Mangione is the cousin of Baltimore County Delegate Nino Mangione, R-District 42A, the lawmaker’s office confirmed."

How is that sad? A mildly interesting curiosity sure, but sad?

True too and especially when the killer claims to be stopping "Corruption in Health Care Insurance" that's also getting attention here. Expect a trial on this sometime in 2025. Yes it's not just in the courts but also in congress too given the situation this is going.

We have a fascination with bad guys. To some they are heroes.
Yes there are certain types of killers that get some praise such as this the killer claims to be killing "The Bad Guys", "The Corrupt", "The Abusers" and "The Predators"

Most of the messages on the crowd-sourced fundraising site GiveSendGo reflect a deep frustration shared by many Americans over the U.S. healthcare system - where some treatments and reimbursements can be denied to patients depending on their insurance coverage - as well as broader anger over rising income inequality and soaring executive pay.
"Denying healthcare coverage to people is murder, but no one gets charged with that crime," one donor wrote, calling the killing a "justifiable homicide."

Several others simply wrote, "Deny, Defend, Depose" – the words reportedly written on the shell casings found at the murder scene and intended to invoke tactics some accuse insurers of using to avoid paying out claims.
More than $31,000 had been raised as of Wednesday on GiveSendGo alone.

Expect "GiveSendGo" donations to get lots of political backlash once news outlets like AP and Reuters start investigating the CEO and board of the company over their response to

Prior to this I heard of Give Send Go as being marketed as an alternative to "Go Fund Me" donations. But there are reports that prior to this showing various accused "Vigilante Killers" that murdered rapists and child abusers get donations from GiveSendgo for their legal fees.

Pretty Boy Floyd, Billy The Kid, Jesse James, plus Bonnie and Clyde were heroes to many. There are folk songs about them. Has this guy got his own song yet?

I wonder how they will find jurors (or their family
members) that have not had doctor ordered procedures denied by their insurance company.

No one deserves to be gunned down. Unfortunately two wronges never make a right.

My experience with United Healthcare has only been good. Spent three days in a hospital. The bill was over $14,000. United paid all but $300.

True too also it comes down to how the lawyers and judge wants this specific case to be examined. Also one can also argue the same stuff with the Ryan Routh case and the various examples where "A Samaritan" killed a rapist type stuff, killed a corrupt person type stuff. The Public will say "I'm rooting for the Hero to go free", "The Lawyer is a Hero Blamer" type stuff until they are in the jury and have to examine specific parts that Defense and Prosecutors want examined in testimony.

We can have these types of people on the streets but that always ends in paranoia. How the streaming news/talk outlets play this specific case is a factor in 2025 and yes it's to sway the public a certain way. Yes it's to play the Dexter Morgan card in the media.

Apparently I didn't realize other TV Shows had this very scenario play out. But at the time the episodes were made it was considered crazy to be true.

Just a guess. Doctors are now prescribing antidepressants for back pain, not opiates. He also wrote about antidepressants. So, if he quit them suddenly? That might explain an explosion of anger and hate.
