WCBS hires Meteorologist Scott Padgett from Dallas sister station KTVT

well, WCBS aka CBS New York (FKA CBS 2) is gaining a new meteorologist in Scott Padgett who was the Chief Meteorologist at sister station KTVT CBS News Texas (FKA CBS 11), Padgett wrapped up his 12 year run at the Dallas station yesterday and is on his way to New York, as someone who lives in North Texas, we will miss seeing Scott on Channel 11, but you guys in New York City are getting one good Meteorologist.

I’m sorry Lonni Quinn got hurt. But he’s an awful weatherman. He’s clearly been there for all these years because of his good looks. His weather reports are all over the place, tough to understand, he’s guessing most of the time & unwatchable. They put him on The National News at 630pm too & that’s not because he’s talented 🤷
