WDAE Gets Full Powered FM Upgrade; Rumba Moves To 95.3/102.9

Bring back WSUN! [Now, don't go getting your Koss headphones in a twist, just a bit of fum and anyways it's at 97.1 now.]

Which version of WSUN?

MOR from the ‘70s?
Country from the ‘80s?
Talk from the ‘90s?
Oldies from circa 2000?
Alternative from after 2000?

That’s the problem with those great call letters. They have no clear identity after being used on so many different formats.

What's kind of cool here is that more than likely "WDAE-FM" will be born again in Tampa Bay. I can't see any reason why "WRUB" would be kept and registered with any of the frequencies in the area.

Too bad they can never bring back Chuck Monroe, Rob Snowden, Jerry Walker, Chip Taylor or Brother John Moore!
