Weather Channel Announces Plans To Invent Names For Winter Storms

Salt isn't good for the cars either. After growing up in the Rochester NY area, I'm still amazed to see 10 yo cars in AZ without a hint of rust on them.

Probably has as much of a chance of catching on as that stupid "Coho" name one of the local stations here (KATU, I think) decided to give the cold east winds that come out of the Gorge.

TWC is trying to create buzz. But this buzz is just stupid. Trying to name winter storms is beyond absurd. Nobody cares. They are too frequent and too hard to rate on a scale. Let it go, Weather channel. It doesn't work.
