WEEI-FM...Local or National Broadcast of the World Series

Does anyone know what WEEI-FM will be carrying for the World Series? Will they carry Joe C's call or will they have to carry the national broadcast? If they carry the National Broadcast, what will WSKO carry, since they are an ESPN affiliate?
 
This from Boston Radio Watch:

For the World Series, Red Sox Radio Network broadcasts can only go out on WRKO AM 680 or WEEI 850 AM signals. Rest of the network won’t be able to carry the hometown play-by-play meaning that the fans in Metro West won’t be getting Joe Castiglione's another World Series call on WCRN AM 830’s 50,000 watt signal but will have to rely on WRKO AM’s iffy nighttime signal which battles static and a French-speaking station from Canada after sunset. 890 ESPN will have the national ESPN Radio call of the Fall Classic with Jon Miller and Joe Morgan.

This is a little confusing. Does this mean Entercom's WEEI properties, WEEI-AM, WEEI-FM, WVEI-AM & WVEI-FM will all be carrying the local broadcast... just not the non-Entercom affiliates? Or are the baby EEI's left in the dark?
 
WEEI FM carried everything last year, and through the playoffs, despite other affiliates having to switch to ESPN coverage. I'd assume(and hope) it is the case for teh WS
 
This flagship only stuff only comes into effect for the world series. The last time the Sox were in the world series, WPRO was the affiliate in Providence. It should be interesting tonight to see if both WEEI-FM and the Score are carrying the ESPN Radio coverage.

My understanding though is that WEEI-FM is considered flagship for those purposes. I doubt they'll carry the game at all if they have to use ESPN, so if they don't have it, you'll have to tune over to 99.7
 
WEEI-FM is not the flagship, WEEI-AM in Boston is. The F;agship is the hometown station (meaning WEEI-AM Boston and whoever out of Denver) get to carry the local and any other station (including the Entercom owned properties in Providence and Springfield) cannot
 
Isn't WRKO the flagship station?

Actually, they call it the "Shaw's Red Sox Radio Network," so maybe we can hear Joe & Glenn if we go to Shaw's . . .
 
I know the other stations are so called network but I thought 103.7 was technically just a simulcast of the AM.That's why it is WEEI am and fm.
 
Maybe if WEEI AM&FM were in the same city that would be the case, but not when they're 60 miles, or whatever it is, apart. Also, it isn't a complete simulcast. WEEI-FM has seperate IDs and commercials.

Yes, I'm hearing 1080 WTIC fine here right now, and they're running the John Miller/Joe Morgan ESPN Radio broadcast. The local broadcast on 850 WEEI isn't even mentioning the network, it's just something like "You're listening to the Red Sox in the world series on Sports Radio 850 WEEI, brought to you by Shaws."
 
I can't stand these 2. Joe Morgan especially. I'd rather watch Joe Buck and Tim McCarver, but alas, not cable television.
 
I live in an apparent deadzone for WNAC 64, I can sometimes get very staticy audio.

What about Ch 25 in Boston or Ch 61 Hartford (depending upon where in the state you are)?
 
I get nothing for Fox. Live in Fall River. I get 6, 10, 12 and sometimes 28.

Well if you don't have a good HD antenna now, go invest in one as was reminded to me on another thread, the switch over is coming and fast

Like I have the cash. More then likely, I'll be spending all my tax return to be able to watch TV past next year.
