Ah, the mysterious and always rule-breaking Kalendar returns! With only male demos...

There is a marked improvement in WEEI's performance.

And from our own radio-info.com headlines:
>>Boston: The sports battle is almost neck-and-neck. Entercom's WEEI-AM/FM subsides, 3.4-5.6-3.8. CBS Radio's "Spots Hub" WBZ-FM holds 3.4-4.3-4.1.

That's PPM, 6+ continuous not 18-34, 25-54 as seen above.
http://www.radio-info.com/markets/boston

TKK and RKO about the same. XKS gains a bit more again

the sports hub has finally taken over thanks to pats and bruins play by play ,and lack of Celtics!! also weei am is gone! no mention on there at all!!

I was scanning the list and saw that too. In some cases they bundled up stations that simulcast, like
WAAF and WKAF (with an "i" notation next to it) but for some reason they mentioned WXKS AM and
WKOX simulcast. Er, not since the Air America days (and for awhile, Rumba). (The list on radio-info)

btw I had mentioned that my HD portable display had Spanish-language music on WXKS-FM HD 2, one late night.
By day, it said "Talk 1200-Wxks am" (sic). The other night the display had Spanish lang music again
(most likely taken from WKOX 1430).But it definitely played talk, namely Coast to Coast.

I'm sure it's combined, there's always some little errors on that list, like 103.7 (WVEI) being owned by CBS! REALLY?!? hahah

For some reason, the ratings show WBUR-FM and WBUR-AM, but don't mention WCCT-FM in Harwich or WSDH-FM in Sandwich, which probably have more listeners than WBUR-AM on the Cape of Cod.

The second I saw who started this topic, I had a pretty good idea of what I was going to be reading. This guy has no shame. I don't recall seeing a post from him last month. That also tells me something.

Your post brought a question to my mind. Don't women count? I never thought about it before. Women spend a lot of money. Toucher and Rich isn't a sports show, yet they are compared to D&C, why not include women in these numbers. 'EEI seems to always have the higher overall ratings. Is that difference made up of women?

Put some 35-64's up, you a**hat. I double-dare you clown.

Let's see... The Sox blew up. The NBA won't start til Christmas. Meanwhile, the Pats are winning and the Broonz have figured out what to do with a hockey puck lately.

The Hub has parlayed these facts into an eye popping 0.3 ratings lead over their hapless rival.

I'm impressed!

In the ratings (Radio-Info's, not kalendar's) WEEI is listed as WEEI-FM. They are still (at least as of yesterday) broadcasting on 850 AM. Are the 850 AM listeners included in the WEEI-FM ratings?

Alex Beam about 98.5 and other media using words that were once considered vulgar (At first you may have trouble getting whole article but it worked for me)

http://www.bostonglobe.com/arts/201...leted-radio/W0owg0JLctxMkPSx2c1H7O/story.html

>>I was minding my own business last month, listening to Sports Hub 98.5 FM talk radio, because I was told that all the cool kids had abandoned WEEI. Apropos of nothing, I heard a guest call someone a vulgar noun often used to describe new Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine.

(It's said that Tony Mazz uses "sucks" a lot. I hear it during ads for "5 Hour Energy" these days.
"Oh, I'm so tired," a blues singer moans. Voiceover: "Tired SUCKS....")
