Were some of the "reality" show more graphic than others?

I was thinking: were some of the medical based "reality" shows more graphic than others? For example, Trauma: Life in the E.R. was very graphic, more graphic than Rescue 911 or On Scene: Emergency Response was in the early 90s. Of course being on cable, Trauma: Life in the E.R. showed a lot more of the violent things than the other shows did.
