Were the radio towers for KNTB 1480 Lakewood removed?

Especially when one can count the number on one hand!
And "we all know it". On a similar topic, listeners' memories, we flipped a station in January from talk to music, and some angry listeners complained that we took away the morning local talk show and the high school play-by-play. Both had been removed 4-5 years ago.

I thought 1150 was AT the 880 tower. Which is in the Mercer Slough swamp south of Bellevue. When I lived in Bellevue, 880 and 1150 bled all over the band on several channels day and night.
We're already hearing all of those products and then some in commercial breaks on Coast to Coast and various conservative talk shows. Texas Super Food and Dinovite, anyone?
Virtually all national commercials heard on national talk shows are barter for the programming, local affiliate getting nothing but the privilege of airing the show.

Change is harder for some than others.

By the way, the city of Bellevue had an engineering consultant look at combining these two transmitting sites into one a couple of years back. Here's the report, which has lots of information about the three stations involved:
Accurate report, especially the part that states: "This new facility would have to provide a coverage improvement for KIXI and KKNW in order to make it worthwhile to commit the resources to this consolidation. It is conceivable that the cost for a project
of this magnitude could approach 5 million dollars."

Such a cost would easily well exceed the combined value of both stations.
