West Coast warning, a real stinker of an SNL is on it's way, 12/09/06

Just saw it here on East and Central time zones. You know that thing about people stopping to watch a wreck? Well a wreck is comming!

West and Mountain time viewers? This has to be the worst SNL in recent memory. Nothing was funny, few laughs, and you would swear the cast hadn't been to a rehersal. Normally that would be a good thing, but not tonight. I'm not kidding, this one's bad.

Get those TiVO-like things ready.

You have been warned!

Gotta hope the Justin Timberlake episode would be better. He was surprisingly good when he last hosted. Nothing is gonna top this season's episode of Alec Baldwin/Christina Aguilera. That one was fantastic! Cameos of Steve Martin, Tony Bennett and Paul McCartney made it an unforgettable night!

P.S. I didn't watch any of tonight's episode at all.

I really don't like SNL, and usually never watch it execpt when I have to work on Saturday nights...Well, I had to work on the night that Alec Baldwin/Christina Aguilera was on, and I thought it was the best one I've ever seen.

For last night's, I didn't have to work, so I didn't see it.

Saturday Night Live has not been funny ever since the days when Dana Carvey and Phil Hartman were regulars. The best years of Saturday Night Live was when Gilda Radner, Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Dan Ackroyd, Jane Curtin, Bill Murray, Garrett Morris, and to a certain extent Steve Martin(although he wasn't technically a regular) and also when Eddie Murphy was a regular on the show. Those were the best years of SNL. Only reason that SNL has ceased to be funny because they hired a bunch of people from comedy clubs that people thought were funny in their standups on stage, but when on TV they didn't do so well.

What happened segment by segment? and should NBC issue a Cancellation notice for the show?

Nah. The show still get's top ratings, and picks up pretty good ad dollars from what I understand.
But I do think it's time for a clean sweep at the top. Time for some new blood...
