Westwood One Football to WTIC 1080

I heard a promo on WTIC-AM 1080 saying the NFL is coming to the station. They will have NFL games Sunday, Monday nights and other days according to the promo which also gave a list of the teams that will be heard on 1080 throughout the season. The NFL Westwood One package was previously heard for many seasons on WPOP 1410. I assume WFAN 660 will also have Westwood One along with the New York Giants. Of course Westwood One is part of CBS which owns WTIC and WFAN. Maybe WTIC will have an even greater sports presence with the supposed coming of Rush Radio on 97.9.

WFAN has been a charter WW1 Sunday/Monday (and now, Thursday) Night Football affiliate for many, many years... practically since the station's inception back in 1987.

Would this air on their HD stream or whatever when the Red Sox are wrapping up their pitiful station first?

This is interesting. Smart move by CBS Radio Hartford as WTIC already has UCONN and Red Sox. Also who has the Patriot games in Hartford I knew 93.7 had it before it was Hot. Would be welcomed to 1080 I am sure.
